The Indre à Vélo route
At the heart of Touraine, the Indre à Vélo is a 200 km route that links fragments of history. From Azay-le-Rideau, the route follows the meanders of the river towards the east and the fortress of Montbazon south of Tours. Then head to Loches and its famous keep, only a few kilometers away the charming village of Montrésor or Chedigny a true city garden with its 800 roses. The route then leaves the department of Indre et Loire and heads towards Indre and the town of Chatillon, between Berry and Touraine, which houses the castle of Henry II Plantagenet. The route will finally take you to Châteauroux where nature and historical monuments coexist.
